The Day I Tried a Digital Detox: No Phone, No Internet! 📵😳
Last month, I decided to try something totally crazy: a full day without my phone, no internet, no social media. At first, I thought it would be easy, but the moment I woke up, I instinctively reached for my phone... and then realized I couldn’t use it!
Breakfast felt strange without watching YouTube or scrolling through TikTok. I actually paid attention to the taste of my food and the sounds around me. During the day, I noticed how much I depended on my phone — for checking the time, talking to friends, and even avoiding awkward moments.
Instead of watching videos, I read a book, took a long walk outside, and even started drawing again after years! I felt bored at times, but also incredibly calm and present.
By the end of the day, I realized how refreshing it was to disconnect. I slept better that night and felt less stressed. Now, I try to do a “mini detox” every weekend, even if it’s just for a few hours. You should try it too! 🌿💤
